About Me
Hello!

My name is Phoebe Giordano and I am a student at Ohio University studying Environmental Studies, Outdoor Recreation & Education, and Appalachian Studies through the rigorous and prestigious Honors Tutorial College.

Growing up in the middle of the woods, helping my dad build trails around our property and playing make-believer with my brother, I discovered a deep-seated desire to be outside early on. It wasn't until my first foray at a summer camp that I was inspired to consider a career in the field. Nowadays, my passions lie in adding entries to my edible/medicinal plant journal, contributing towards valuable local food systems in areas of systemic food insecurity, and engaging in regional, place-based learning.
An obvious lover of the outdoors, I have a passion for exploration...but if I am not outside I can be found teaching myself new crafts or getting lost in a new book. I created this portfolio to showcase my training, experience, and work in the environmental field.
